Wildlife Warriors Worldwide |
Wildlife Warriors Worldwide Ltd was established in 2002, initially by Steve and Terri Irwin, as a way to include and involve other caring people to support the protection of injured, threatened or endangered wildlife - from the individual animal to an entire species. Terri remains involved as WWW's patron and significant supporter and advisor, but the charity now operates independently.

Eco-Libris is for everyone. It is a green business that enables people to do something reasonable, affordable yet with an impact: plant one tree for every book they read. "We believe that taking responsibility for the environmental costs of the books we read is only natural."

Sustainable Harvest International |
The mission of Sustainable Harvest International (SHI) is to provide farming families in Central America with the training and tools to overcome poverty while restoring our planet's tropical forests. The 40 members of SHI's Central American staff have worked with more than 1,350 families in 101 communities to implement sustainable land-use practices that alleviate poverty while restoring the environment. Since the organization's start in 1997, SHI has planted more than 2 million trees and converted thousands of acres to sustainable uses; thereby saving tens of thousands of acres of tropical forest from slash-and-burn destruction.

Alliance for Reforestation International |
The Alliance for International Reforestation, Inc. or AIR, is a non-profit organization working to make a difference for the people of Guatemala and Nicaragua. AIR plants trees, establishes tree nurseries, provides environmental education for teachers and farmers, digs wells, builds fuel-efficient brick ovens, and helps to educate everyone about the environmental challenges facing Central America. Carbon Neutral
|
Carbon Neutral is a not for profit organisation which was formed by Men of the Trees Inc and partners with Trees for Life. These organisations have grown more than 30 million native trees over the past 27 years. Since forming in 2001 Carbon Neutral has planted hundreds of thousands of trees in some of the most environmentally vulnerable areas of Australia.

I want to share with you some worthy organisations that are doing some amazing work for the planet. Some we hear about
briefly, sadly for others, we never hear about them in the news, or in the course of our daily lives.
Of course there are thousands of other worthy organisations out there doing amazing work to help our planet, but these are a few of my favourites and ones that I personally support.
